The short version

Water Matters Most is operated by Joe Braun through Join The Few LLC. Joe Braun is an independent distributor of Enagic products, including Kangen Water® systems and the LeveLuk® K8 water ionizer.

When you submit a form on WaterMattersMost.com, we collect the information you provide so we can answer your questions, send requested information, and communicate with you about Enagic products and related topics.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We use ActiveCampaign to manage contact forms and email communications. ActiveCampaign also helps us understand whether emails are opened, whether links are clicked, and which pages known contacts visit on our website.

We also use Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta/Facebook Pixel, and embedded YouTube videos. These services may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your browser, device, website activity, and interactions with advertisements or videos.

Water Matters Most does not directly process orders, payments, financing, shipping, returns, warranties, or product-related customer service. If you decide to purchase an Enagic product, you will be directed to Enagic’s websites and ordering systems. Enagic handles the transaction under its own terms and privacy practices.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. You may also contact us to ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information we maintain about you.

Submitting a question or providing a phone number does not necessarily constitute consent to receive recurring automated marketing text messages. Where legally required, we will obtain any additional consent needed before sending automated or recurring promotional texts.

Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing an Enagic product.

6. ActiveCampaign

We use ActiveCampaign to:

  • collect and store website form submissions;
  • maintain our contact and subscriber lists;
  • send email campaigns and automated follow-up emails;
  • track email opens;
  • track links clicked in emails;
  • associate known contacts with pages they visit on our website; and
  • evaluate engagement with our emails and website.

ActiveCampaign may process contact information, IP addresses, device and browser information, email engagement, website activity, and related identifiers on our behalf.

ActiveCampaign acts as a service provider or data processor for information it processes on our behalf. ActiveCampaign may also independently process certain information as described in its own privacy documentation.

7. Google Analytics and Google Ads

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website. Google Analytics may collect information through cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • IP address and approximate location;
  • browser and device information;
  • pages visited;
  • time spent on the website;
  • referring sources;
  • interactions with website features; and
  • other usage and performance information.

We use Google Ads to advertise our website and measure advertising performance. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to determine whether someone interacted with an advertisement, visited our website, or completed certain actions.

Depending on our settings and your browser or Google account preferences, Google may use information collected through our website to measure advertisements, prevent fraud, personalize advertising, or provide other Google services.

You may control certain Google advertising preferences through your Google account and browser settings.

8. Meta/Facebook Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, to measure advertising performance and understand how people interact with our website after viewing or clicking an advertisement on Facebook, Instagram, or another Meta service.

The Meta Pixel may collect information such as:

  • pages viewed;
  • buttons or links clicked;
  • referring pages;
  • browser and device information;
  • IP address;
  • cookie and advertising identifiers; and
  • interactions with our advertisements and website.

Meta may use this information to provide measurement, analytics, advertising, security, and other services. Meta’s handling of information is also governed by its own privacy policies and user settings.

You may be able to control personalized advertising through your Facebook or Instagram advertising preferences and through your browser or device settings.

9. Embedded YouTube videos

Our website may contain videos embedded from YouTube, a Google service.

When you visit a page containing an embedded YouTube video, YouTube or Google may receive information about your device, browser, IP address, the page you visited, and your interactions with the video. Cookies or similar technologies may be placed or accessed, particularly if you play the video or are signed in to a Google or YouTube account.

YouTube’s and Google’s collection and use of this information are governed by Google’s privacy practices.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, tracking pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, and similar technologies.

These technologies may be used to:

  • operate and secure the website;
  • remember settings and preferences;
  • process and associate form submissions;
  • recognize returning visitors or known contacts;
  • analyze website traffic and performance;
  • track email opens and link clicks;
  • measure advertising results;
  • create or measure advertising audiences;
  • display embedded content; and
  • detect fraud or misuse.

Some cookies are necessary for the website to function. Other cookies are used for analytics, advertising, or personalization.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may prevent certain website features, embedded videos, analytics, advertising measurements, or form functions from operating properly.

Where required by applicable law, we will request consent before activating nonessential cookies or similar tracking technologies.

11. Email communications

When you subscribe to our email list or otherwise consent to receive email communications, we may send:

  • answers to your questions;
  • requested educational information;
  • follow-up messages;
  • information about Kangen Water and Enagic products;
  • newsletters;
  • product updates;
  • invitations or announcements; and
  • marketing or promotional communications.

Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe link. You may unsubscribe at any time by using that link or contacting us directly.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails may not prevent us from sending nonmarketing communications that are necessary to respond to an active inquiry, honor a request, document your preferences, or comply with the law.

We may retain limited information about an unsubscribed email address to ensure that the address remains suppressed from future marketing campaigns.

12. Telephone calls and text messages

When you voluntarily provide a telephone number, we may use it to respond to your inquiry by telephone or text message.

Messages may include answers to questions, appointment coordination, requested follow-up, or information related to Enagic products.

Standard message and data rates may apply.

You may ask us to stop calling or texting you at any time. For text messages, you may reply STOP or contact us using the information at the end of this policy. We will honor legally valid opt-out and revocation requests as required by applicable law.

Unless you separately provide the consent required by law, we will not treat the submission of a general inquiry form as consent to receive recurring automated promotional text messages.

13. How we disclose information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances.

Service providers

We disclose information to companies that provide services needed to operate our website and communications, including:

  • ActiveCampaign;
  • website hosting and technical service providers;
  • Google, through Google Analytics, Google Ads, and YouTube;
  • Meta Platforms, through the Meta Pixel;
  • email, security, and website-management providers; and
  • professional advisers when reasonably necessary.

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, protect their systems, or as otherwise described in their own applicable privacy terms.

Although we do not sell your contact information, certain analytics and advertising technologies may involve disclosures of online identifiers or activity information to Google or Meta. Depending on the law applicable in a particular jurisdiction, some advertising-related disclosures may be treated as “sharing,” targeted advertising, or another regulated form of data processing.

Enagic

If you choose to purchase an Enagic product, we will direct you to Enagic’s websites or ordering systems.

Enagic collects and processes information needed to handle:

  • product orders;
  • payment information;
  • payment processing;
  • financing applications or arrangements;
  • billing;
  • taxes;
  • shipping and delivery;
  • returns and refunds;
  • warranties;
  • product registration; and
  • product-related customer service.

Water Matters Most does not directly collect or store your payment-card information, banking information, financing application, or Enagic order information through WaterMattersMost.com.

Enagic is a separate business and handles information collected through its systems under its own privacy policies, terms, and procedures.

Legal and safety purposes

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or governmental request;
  • investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, or illegal activity;
  • protect our rights, property, or safety;
  • protect the rights, property, or safety of another person; or
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Business changes

If Join The Few LLC or Water Matters Most is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

14. Third-party websites and services

Our website contains links to Enagic and may contain links to other third-party websites or services.

When you follow a third-party link, you leave WaterMattersMost.com. The third party may collect information under its own privacy policy, cookie policy, and terms.

We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or business practices of Enagic, Google, Meta, ActiveCampaign, YouTube, or any other third party.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party websites before providing personal or financial information.

15. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • respond to inquiries;
  • maintain ongoing customer or prospective-customer relationships;
  • provide requested information and follow-up communications;
  • operate our email list and marketing activities;
  • understand website and email engagement;
  • maintain business and consent records;
  • honor unsubscribe, do-not-call, and deletion requests;
  • resolve disputes;
  • enforce agreements;
  • comply with legal obligations; and
  • protect against fraud, misuse, or security incidents.

We do not currently use a fixed schedule under which all collected contact information is automatically deleted.

The length of retention may depend on the nature of the information, whether you remain subscribed or engaged, our relationship with you, applicable legal requirements, and whether the information is needed for legitimate business or recordkeeping purposes.

We may retain suppression records containing limited information after an unsubscribe or opt-out request so that we can continue honoring the request.

We may also retain aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify you.

You may request deletion of your information as described below. We will evaluate and respond to the request in accordance with applicable law. Certain information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, recordkeeping, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or the protection of legal rights.

16. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no website, electronic transmission, email system, or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of personal information.

Please do not submit payment information, financing details, health information, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through our general website forms.

17. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • ask whether we maintain personal information about you;
  • request access to personal information we maintain about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of personal information;
  • withdraw consent to certain uses of information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • request information about how personal information has been used or disclosed;
  • opt out of marketing emails;
  • opt out of telephone calls or text messages; and
  • complain to an appropriate privacy or regulatory authority.

To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information at the end of this policy.

We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. We will use information provided for verification only to evaluate and respond to the request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.

18. United States privacy information

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Some United States privacy laws may define “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising broadly enough to include certain disclosures of online activity or identifiers through advertising technologies such as Google Ads or the Meta Pixel.

Residents of states that provide applicable privacy rights may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or an opt-out from regulated advertising-related processing. These rights are subject to the scope, thresholds, definitions, and exceptions of applicable law.

We do not knowingly use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning website visitors.

19. Canadian visitors

We actively market our services and information to residents of the United States and Canada.

For Canadian visitors, we seek to collect, use, and disclose personal information for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate under the circumstances.

Where Canadian law applies:

  • we will seek meaningful consent when required;
  • we will explain the purposes for collecting personal information;
  • we will limit collection to information reasonably needed for those purposes;
  • we will provide a means to withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions;
  • we will honor valid unsubscribe requests;
  • we will provide access to personal information as required by law; and
  • we will take reasonable steps to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

Personal information submitted by Canadian visitors may be transferred to and processed in the United States. While information is in the United States, it may be subject to United States law and may be accessible to United States courts, law-enforcement agencies, or governmental authorities where legally required.

Canadian residents may contact us with questions, concerns, or complaints about our privacy practices. They may also have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the appropriate provincial privacy authority.

20. International visitors

Water Matters Most is based in Illinois, United States, and actively markets only to residents of the United States and Canada.

If you access the website from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from those in your country.

Our website and marketing program are not specifically directed toward residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States and Canada.

21. Children’s privacy

Our website is intended for adults interested in water-related information and Enagic products. It is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We also do not knowingly use the website to solicit personal information from minors where parental or guardian consent would be required by applicable law.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us. We will investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.

22. Do Not Track and browser privacy signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not a universally accepted standard for responding to traditional Do Not Track signals, our website may not respond to them consistently.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signal, we will take reasonable steps to honor that signal as required.

You may also manage cookies, advertising identifiers, and privacy settings through your browser, device, Google account, Facebook account, or Instagram account.

23. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in:

  • our website;
  • the services and technologies we use;
  • our information practices;
  • legal or regulatory requirements; or
  • our business operations.

When we update the policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top.

Material changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

24. Governing law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this Privacy Policy and matters relating to WaterMattersMost.com are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in this section limits any privacy or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
